CHICK-FIL-A IS COMING TO NYC!! Sort of. Stay with me.
This Friday, July 9th, is Cow Appreciation Day, where normally you show up at Chick-Fil-A dressed like a cow and they give you a free sandwich (which is a great deal). But THIS YEAR they are also renting a double decker bus in Manhattan and giving out free sandwiches from 10am - 1pm.
FRIDAY. JULY 9TH. FREE CHICK-FIL-A SANDWICHES. 10AM - 1PM. NEW YORK CITY. GO FOR IT.

MAYBE THIS GETS US ONE STEP CLOSER TO A CHICK-FIL-A IN NYC? WE CAN DREAM.
(Sadly, I’m out of town in rural Connecticut but I figured I’d pass this news along because this is awesome. And random fun fact: one of my first acting jobs in NYC was posing as the Chick-Fil-A cow for their 2008 (and now the 2011) cow-lendar as an anthropomorphised cow.)
(Update: I am aware of the NYU Chick-Fil-A and have been there a few times. But it’d be great to get a real one in NYC where I don’t have to prepare fake stories about my upcoming dissertation I can’t seem to get finished.)
